After all our trips to visit Phil in Tucson, we thought the Visitors’ Center at Saguaro National Park was the real deal. This time we visited the Sonoran Desert Museum, a scant 5 miles southeast of the park and packed with a variety of exhibits that astounded us. From original moon rocks to cute bobcats, the museum is staffed by a cadre of dedicated volunteers and was thoroughly entertaining.
